LA City Small Business Emergency Microloan Program
The City is providing a microloan to eligible businesses registered with the City of Los Angeles’ Office of Finance.

Key Terms
Loan limits - $5,000 to $20,000
Interest rate - 0% to 3%, depending on length and payment terms
Terms - 18 months to 5 years
Must use as working capital only.
No loan fees, no administrative fees, no application fees, no prepayment penalty.
Eligibility Requirements
Registered with the City of Los Angeles’ Office of Finance prior to March 1, 2020.
Primary business operations must be physically located in a commercial-use building within City of Los Angeles boundaries.
Business owners must have reasonable and responsible credit history. No bankruptcies and debt write-offs in the prior 12 months.
Businesses must show that they had sufficient cash flow prior to the COVID-19 outbreak.
All business owners who hold 20% or more ownership must personally guarantee the loan.
